The Council on Occupation Education (COE), reaccredited HFIAW Local 14 Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) after completing a rigorous process that ensures training programs meet the highest quality standards.
Garrett Giglio, who was recently appointed as Training Coordinator for Insulators Local 53 in New Orleans, made his debut appearance on the America’s Work Force Union Podcast on Nov. 15 and talked about the Local’s training program and the opportunities provided by Local 53's registered apprenticeship program.
More than 30 training coordinators and other union officers attended the two-day New Coordinators Training held in July at the Hilton Americas–Houston, a few days prior to the start of the 2023 Local Union Officers and Joint Apprentice Conferences and the 2023 Master Apprentice Competition events.
