The Labor Management Coorporative Trust (LMCT) is a program to promote the heat and frost insulation industry and expand opportunities for both labor and management. The initiative was put into place by the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers and its signatory contractors in 2007.
The LMCT is made up of progressive individuals throughout the industry whose collective goal is to promote the following market segments:
The program offers invaluable resources and relationships to help grow the businesses of our signatory contractors, including an experienced and fully-trained workforce and membership in a contractor association that promotes the industry jointly.
Changing initiatives in the industry, such as Fire Stopping, have created numerous opportunities for our LMCT contractors. We provide the educational resources for you to be able to expand your business into markets outside of strictly "Mechanical Insulation" or "Hazardous Waste Remediation." The LMCT also provides access and training on planning programs, such as 3E, that gives our contractors an awareness of the true value and savings provided by properly spec'd jobs. This research helps give our contractors the upper hand in working with end users, owners, and engineers.
LMCT contractors equipped with the trained and disciplined workforce provided by the International Union are much better suited for today’s ever-changing marketplace.
There are numerous benefits to becoming a Contractor Member of the LMCT. The LMCT team works with industry professionals to help you plan and prepare to bid and secure projects throughout the United States and Canada, both inside and outside your home marketplace. Our industry experts can then assist you, the contractor, with any project and provide the manpower with the skill sets necessary to complete a job on-time and on-budget.
The LMCT works tirelessly to raise awareness of the importance Mechanical Insulation plays in today's business marketplace through various marketing and advertising initiatives. By becoming as a signatory contractor and member of the LMCT, you are joining a working relationship created to forge an environment that provides expanded job opportunities for your business.
