Government decisions impact many aspects of our daily lives (the taxes we pay, our ability to secure work, the health and safety of our workplace, health care and retirement benefits), and as such, our union has, and continues to emphasize, the importance of electing candidates who support the union construction industry, specifically the work of the Insulators.
The International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers maintains a political presence in Canada and the United States monitoring developments that can have an impact on our industry and our members.
We will strive to keep you updated on those developments through this page. At times we may seek assistance in shaping opinion on certain issues or legislation. This may include letter writing campaigns or other forms of feedback sent to individual legislators.
We will do our best to keep you informed, but if members come across topics that might require our attention, please do not hesitate to contact us.
