RE: Grassroots Letters to Congress for Tax Incentive Language for Mechanical Insulation

The International Union and the National Insulation Association has been working on a campaign to win congressional support for users/owners of mechanical insulation to receive a tax deduction. This initiative has generated great interest on Capitol Hill. Now we need to turn lawmakers' interest into action. We need your help to tell Congress that a tax incentive for mechanical insulation will create jobs and improve energy efficiency.  In support of the International/NIA's tax incentive campaign in Washington, we are asking you to complete and sign the Letter of Support for Mechanical Insulation Tax Incentive addressed to your Congressional Representatives.

Each individual should sign three (3) Letters of Support.
One (1) Letter of Support, to each one of your Senator’s in your State and one (1) Letter of Support, to your Congressman in the U. S. House of Representatives.

We want Letters of Support going to ALL of Congress regardless of party affiliation.

If you need to find out who your Senators or House of Representatives are, go to: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/findyourreps.xpd

Please return your Letters of Support to your Business Manager by December 31, 2009.
The Business Manager will forward all of your Letters of Support to the International.
They will be hand delivered to Congress in the first week of 2010.

The Letter of Support is written in Microsoft WORD and can be “edited” to include your personal information.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
