2015 Building Trades Legislative Conference (Photos)

Nearly 3,000 delegates attended the North America's Building Trades Unions 2015 Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. this April.

As we published in the latest edition of The Insulators Union Journal, fourteen construction unions, including the HFIAW, were on hand to discuss current and future political and economic issues affecting the building and construction trade industry.

With the political environment in a clear state of change, the immediate need for unions and their members to work with both Democrats and Republicans was the primary theme of the Building Trades President Sean McGarvey's keynote address and the overall theme of the annual event itself - "Building Bridges Over the Political Divide."

You can find the full story in the summer 2015 edition of The Journal.
